Creating Internship Programs

One of the most valuable programs a local Community can implement is an Internship program for training and mentoring young students.  Many communities are now demanding more rigorous science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curricula to ensure students are able to compete for jobs in the 21st century.  Hands-on Internship programs, both at the collegiate and pre-collegiate ages are useful for integrating STEM-proficient students with employers seeking to support an agenda for growing the future workforce.  The following is a short White Paper that provides some useful guidance on how to set-up such a program.
